I rode a previous horse in the Nirak bridle, when she went on sales livery they tried her in a normal cavesson and she hated it and made it well known, perfectly happy as soon as she was put back in the Nirak, so it went with her!
So I think there is definitely something about them that can make the difference, especially with sensitive souls.
