After my panicked post the other day. I'm waiting for a stable to come up at a beautiful yard, about 5 mins from me, I never even knew it was there!
I've just been looking at where the hacking is round there, loads of it is off road, completely different to what we're used to. However, there are a lot of hills. Some quite steep.
Have any of my PSD sufferers been advised about hills etc whilst riding?
Also her new field has a hill at the back of it. Not steep, and to be fair, the horses always seem to graze on the flat bit. Been there a few times now, never seen them run, they all seem extremely happy. Josie will be in the pony field too, so there will be 3 ponies and her, ideal.
I'd be greatful for any words of wisdom.
Also I'd just like to say a HUGE thankyou to everyone that replied to my post and for all the pms the other day. This forum is amazing. CBAnglo especially, you're a star x
Josie is managing 2 hours turnout without the rotten mare, and she's coming home to mow my grass for 2 hours too. Luckily I only live 10 doors away! I'm walking her out loads, and aso riding. It's not ideal, but til I can get her moved, I'll just have to cope.
Thanks again everyone x x x
