PTS this morning

Thank you for all your messages. They really mean a lot.

I've been looking over as much information as possible on twisted gut and how to prevent it. I did everything right so why did it happen?! I just feel a bit helpless. My neighbor saw him trotting around the field at 8am, I was there at 9:30 and by 10:30 he was in secondary shock.

He had a 10% chance of surviving a lorry journey to the clinic for surgery and I just couldn't put him through that.

Sorry to pour out how I'm feeling on here but if I don't know where else to go.

Really really sorry to hear this BH. My heart goes out to you.

Please don't forget that there are many people on here nowadays who, for one reason or another, no longer want horses, but that doesn't stop your contribution from being valued.

You have always been a very warm, friendly, and genuine member, and if you leave, you will be missed. I hope, once you have come to terms with your loss, you will come back and visit us.
