Livery's new horse arrived on last week. She's lovely, 5yr old WB. Was turned out with her perspective fieldmate and they bonded brilliantly, had a good canter around and a few bucks etc, and are now getting on wonderfully. The other morning, livery noticed her back legs looked "puffy". the legs are perfectly normal down the cannon, and then look swollen around the fetlock. Hock, cannon, coronet and hoof are all fine, its just the fetlocks and about 3 inches above look larger then normal. Horse isn't lame in any gait, or holding weight off either of them. There is no extra heat and they don't feel particularly hard or super fluidy really. Any thoughts? I thought maybe she overdid it in the field running around or something, livery did say they were having a good old time!.
