Pug name - is this cruel

Pauline the Pug - does it do it for you

I like names that match the breed so Buddy the Bulldog
Ben the Bassett
Colin the Cairn

you get the picture,

but when I was telling a friend about names for the new puglet she said no way can a pug be Pauline.

Any thoughts or sugestions

I love dowdy people names for dogs. Pauline is hilarious

I once knew a Stevie the Belgian Tervuren, which somehow suited him as he was a bit of a rabble rouser.

Marlene is a fabulous name for a pug!! Pauline is good too.

Otto was going to be called Arnold, until he arrived and was nothing like an Arnold And I tried very hard to get my Parents to call one of their dogs Dave

Pauline is a great name for a Pug. Or you could try Sylvia, Puggy Wuggy or Estelle. All good Pug names >g<

I think its a cool name but atm I just can't imaging shouting out Pauline across the park without a mac n dark glasses. Its gonna be embarassing I think.

Maybe she'll be Poppy.

Nooooo... i have two pugs and must say im not liking Pauline, just my opinion though!

My two are called Poppy and Obbie. I had another called Lolly. I also know pugs called Lola, Gracie, Jasmine, Daisy, Dolly, Boo, Marmite & peanut, Lottie, Pickle...

i also like Dottie, Frannie, Betsy...

LOL! I'm not a fan of Pauline, but I think Betty for a pug is quite cute.

Popple's pug friends from the park are called Angus & Theo, and my friend in the states has one called Winston, all fab pug names imo.
