Pugador....why would you do such a thing???!

Link worked for me but it is a 2yo returned to the puppy farm that bred him and they want £500!

Particularly like this line:
"There has been only 2 litters in England and both have been bred here at Foxisle Gundogs Englands premier Puggle breeder."
So they've done Pug/Lab, Pug/Beagle... what else??

Oh lor just looked.... cockerpoos, labradoodle, chugs... looks like they started with gundogs and then decided to mix it up a bit...

See guidance at side of ad:

•HELP US TO STOP PUPPY FARMING, read our PUPPY FARMING Information, in association with C.A.R.I.A.D

•Ask to see the pedigree papers (what's a family tree paperwork?!) and ensure the breeder's name is on the certificate.

•Be wary of outlets offering more than one or two breeds

And, er, maybe question why you are paying £500 for a rehome/bounceback crossbreed?

Quite! There is a reason there has only been 2 litters and no more would be a good idea, wrong wrong wrong!

They have some rather dubious claims on both their puppy selling websites including this one;-
"Breathing and eye problems associated with the pure Pug are eliminated by the extension of the jaw and less pronounciation of the eyeball allowing natural eye closure and ridding "Dry eye" and corneal pigmentation build up. Genetic soundness and life longevity is a contributary factor in the popularity of this cross breed, which has now attained breed status in America."

Trouble is too many gullible people believe such rubbish.

Am shuddering at the words.. Intentional breeding and needed a helping hand! No! No! I've also seen a MINI larbadoodle for sale. Wrong !

Yes and then they get angry with the people who point out that they've been diddled out of quite a lot of money, rather than get angry with the people who diddled them.

Oh well.

makes you want to bang your head against a wall doesnt it!! i know i'm biased but just wish people would leave the lab breed alone. That poor milo dog is still going to have all the problems a pug would

A breeder with a good example of a pedigree dog would not put that dog to a good example of another pedigree dog. No need to. They can get more money breeding pedigrees. Any old rubbish onto any old rubbish is what they are actually doing. making any old rubbish. Idiots are buying these designer dogs not having a clue what they are doing which is fueling a trade and yes it is a trade. Its not responsible breeding.

I find all this X breeding just heartbreaking. There are so many dogs in rescue that are never going to be rehomed. The perpetrators are just disgusting IMVHO.

And WHY??????? A Pug on a Lab!!!!! I mean WHY????

I find most dogs attractive, and most mongrels have real charm but that poor boy really is pig ugly - a bug eyed labrador - OMG!

Considering that pugs have trouble in the heat due to their being brachicephalic, and bigger dogs (like, you know, Labs) have more trouble than smaller dogs in the heat due to their size - I wouldn't want to see this poor lad dealing with a hot summer. :(

Because you get a super healthy dog with hybrid vigour !

You know, we are missing a trick here. We could be crossing pugs with Malamutes and selling them to people who could then say they were MUG owners!

;)

I have tried to tell my mam this for years, all our rescues could have been mixed to make a huge concoction of ££££££££££££££ (but she just is not seeing it)

I rather like him - he looks like a Mastiff to me :D

But then I love all dogs. Even the less handsome ones ;)

It's rather cheeky to try and sell a Xbreed rehome though

Lol Oberon I thought he was quite cute too :0 but absolutely would not breed one!! I too like all dogs especially big ones!
