Am I being dull, or am I the only person who doesn't know what they are a cross between?

Advertised in the Ads For Free, as 'perfect if you can't afford a pure Pug', a bargain at £400 of course.

They're third generation too, so what if they're cross breeds? I think it could well be a puppy farm, or somebody on a backyard breeding money making venture as they have a free email account starting with 'petsrit'. Ahh, I just feel like slapping the breeders.

Yea, I just looked it up. I have nothing against cross breeds, my own three are mysteries, but people who try to sell them as though they are pedigree, are really starting to annoy me...

Well yes they're annoying too :p. My trainer was saying only a few weeks ago, that she was having huge difficulties selling mini poodle pups, whose parents had showed and competed in agility successfully, and were fully health tested, etc (she only breeds a litter every few years so I don't consider her an inconsiderate, money making breeder, as she breeds with the aim to keep at least one pup herself), because people were choosing cross breeds, at the same price.

Puggles are a terrible cross and people really shouldnt support these idiot breeders by buying them. They are completely incompatible to breed. To take a toy dog with no hunting instinct that is bred to be a companion and cross it with a beagle that is bred to be a hunting dog is asking for trouble. There are rescues overflowing with these dogs that people have bought based purely on their looks without thinking about how they are going to train the dog, they think they're getting a cute little lapdog, but they're not.

Its interesting to see how much the price has reduced though, shows that they are not selling so well now. A couple of years ago they were £2000+!!
