I have to agree- I think Robert and Ellen aren't a patch on William, in my opinion. I think he rides seriously beautifully. His horses loook happy to me too, and they clearly try their hearts out for him.
Though perhaps I'm biased as I always think Ellen looks a grumpy so and so, though that is from someone 'in the know' as it were, not first hand, so shouldn't really make jugements.
Watched WW during the day he was riding a very tricky chestnut stallion and he just rode it really calmly and it jumped beautifully. It clearly has a lot of talent but a high opinion!
The stallion is Up To Date 8, usually ridden by Michael, and he looks a handful whenever I see him. Lots of ability. He's an 11 year-old whose grandsire is Zeus, sire of Midnight Madness, the tricky horse Michael did so well with in the 1990s.
Thats really interesting. The horse did make life difficult for itself but was jumping effortlessly round. I think Corlato looked liked she needed the round and will come out Sunday/Monday a better horse for it.
