are any of you showing people who do puk sick of them and their class prices there are very few entries for the northern winter champs i feel we have wasted our time and money entering we wont do puk again after this year unless they have a rethink over their prices and the ammount of classes and red tape they are a bunch of prats

We were doing showing when Puk first started, and quite honestly even as kids we thought it was a big rip off! They put on so many classes that the standard gets so diluted it is possible to go an win with a really average pony. That is in my mind in contrast with the principle of a CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW!

I don't show much any more and certainly won't bother with PUK again. The last champs I went to was the one with the infamous clapometer, I also got sick of the whinging, self-congratulatory letters that seemed to be sent out after every champs to tell all the members off! I think their amateurish website pretty much sums them up...

wouldnt touch them with a barge pole.
Your better off going for the BSPS or NPS, or as your in the north the NCPA

Do you mean the £18 a class entry fee?

And numerous classes entitled something different but all seemed to be the same??

you all seem to have the same problem with them yes too many classes and this does as you say dilute the entries and this champs is £25 a class we are doing 4 and with membership getting qualified and entering then going its over £300 for the four classes and if we do the summer it will be as much if not more again ,not any more we wont join again wont do the bsps either tried them they are as bad
