Hey!

Bought some cavallo boots for £45 last Sunday. Any tips for softening, drroppin and shaping around my leg.

Getting them on no prob, just getting them off again!

Just time. when i got mine, they looked an odd shape and really big around ankle, but with wear they dropped in to shape and now are so comfy and i've had them 10 years

They are the same as any other leather shoes or boots, they may give you a few blisters at first so wear them for short time and build up. sad i know but i wore mine around the house and stood on the bottom step of the stairs to push my heels down and help start to creat the wrinkles. if you ride in them from the start they will shape up quicker too.

I have been wearing them around the house too, so we can both be deemed sad together!

The leather os softening and wrinkling now, but, as you said, it will be a waiting game. Thanks for the advice!

As others have said, time and wear will make them comfy. For getting them off yer feet, put some talcum powder on your socks before putting your boots on. Helps your feet slide out

I second the use of 'pop socks' to ease leather boots on and off but I wear mine on top of normal socks and breeches.
