My ID spooked as something flew out the trees the other day and managed to pull the tendons in his front leg!

I had to dismount and walk my poor boy home which was a half hour walk and get the vet out as he was hopping lame!
After only a couple of days there is hardly any swelling, no heat and he is barely lame but after the ultrasound i have been told he has not done too much damage beyond repair but must have another couple of weeks box rest, then can be turned out in a small, non muddy paddock till april when after a vet check he can possibly start to be ridden again. APRIL!!
A friend of mine has had laser therapy on her horse before which is meant to speed up the repair process.

Has anyone heard of this or used this before as i am interested to hear opinions on it???!!

Anything to speed up his recovery!

I am using it on a tendon which was kicked and it is having a very good effect. You can tell if I have missed a day. There is plenty of properly managed (not PR puffery) research that cold laser will result in a better, stronger repair and less fluid, so I would recommend it. You can buy a single diode pen , £60, or a multi-diode machine £350, on eBay.
