Potts has, we think pulled a muscle, (spoke to vet on phone he's coming friday if he is no improvement by then) he is not lame but is not happy about me touching his hock or thigh, it has a small amount of heat in it and is slightly fat, I have cold hosed him for twenty minutes and taken him for a stroll, the only thing he has done is twisted his leg away from my little sharer when she was grooming him monday, he then wouldn't let us touch it so i trotted him up and he was sound, not ridden him since but turned him out hoping he would walk it off, he hasn't. Its no better or worse for being out but i have now bought him in and shall leave him in till the vet comes,
So basically who has had a horse pull a muscle and what was the treatment/recovery time??
