Pulley rug hangers?

This is the roof of one of the sheds on the farm. It’s pretty high, you’d fit an upstairs in easily!

I swiped some really long hollow plastic tubes, they were doing a job on the farm that needed membrane under and it came in huge rolls.
Plan was to thread rope through and hang somewhere as rug storage.
This morning whilst wrangling with soaking big rugs and where to dry them I wondered if I could rig up some kind of pulley system to hang wet rugs up high so out of the farms way but room to get air round in a dry space.
Is this do-able?

Get a long wooden pole, slightly longer than you need. Drill a hole in each end for the pulley hooks. Thread it through the plastic tube, hook the ends up and away you go.

the capacity on the halfords one is a bit crap, if you go on ebay they will have something rated much higher, probably for cheaper
