Just looking at the finishing scores they seem pretty high? Was it xc or Sj that caused the problems?

Cross country caused alot of problems yesterday in the 3*, there wasn't many clears and showjumping was very influential today from what I heard.

XC wasn't bad - more the time was hard than fences...SJing produced only 5 clears though and very few came home with no time faults either!

It looks like instead of paying Sandy Phillips to improve their dressage, they need to get some SJ training. Five fences down for the top 2 irish riders. Means it isn't even a qualifying score for 4*.

The SJing caught alot out - one fence (5) in particular came down in almost every round big oxer with not much room between it and the arena fencing..and it was blue right infront of a big blue lorry. Fence 6, an airy upright on a turn back from that with a bit of a gallop inbetween caught a few out as they were v.flat coming into it

That's good to hear, I saw the fall, it was pretty horrific, he completely slammed into the jump with his chest, broke the rope holding the log, fell on top of her and then rolled over her a few times and kicked her in the head when he got up. The ambulance crew did say they thought her arm was broken but were worried about internal and head injuries. If all she has is a broken arm, she's very lucky. Mr. Smartie looked pretty shaken, I'm glad he's ok, he's a lovely little horse.

Aw i hope poor claire is ok. That sounds like a bad fall. what made him do that he is normally so consistent out xc. I no claire and i dont think her arm is broken from what i have heard from her friends.
