Chase with Hewick, Conflated and Minella Indo amongst others. Conflated fell at the first - not sure why just really like his name. He finished first sans jockey. French Dynamite showed them the way home. Lovely to see old favourites back.

I am a complete Anglophile who tries to pretend Irish racing doesn’t exist. 😃

I'm wondering what adverse impact there will be on Irish racing with the gambling advertising ban about to be implemented, although an article today in the RPost states that implementation might be delayed until 2026.

RacingTV have stated that it is not financially possible for them to run a separate TV stream without gambling adverts just for Irish racing. SkyRacing is going ahead with a separate feed without the banned adverts for Eire as they have the financial ability to afford that.

I like the Irish racing with the much larger field sizes than seem common now in the UK but now it is on RacingTV over here and not Sky I no longer can watch as I can't afford the RTV price.
