Sorry - Have not been clear at all!
As in NL

She was kicked in the field 2 weeks ago.
Vet came on the day, cleaned, flushed and dressed wound, he was not lame. Left me with IV & IM AntiBio's

Vet was due to come back three days to change dressing - Was called back after 2 as was hopping lame..... This time a diff vet, who removed drssing and advised to flush wound twice a day and hose leg 2/3 times a day........ Gave diff antibio's by mouth.

Came back on Friday and was not happy so Xray'd..... Left more antiBio's and Bute, continue with hosing and flushing wound.

She then came near to totally sound all filling had gone from leg - Seemed ok.....

Vet came back today and said it could be either 3 of the above and to consider having her PTS and in his opinion she will not ever come sound.

I have stupidly taken insurance on from previous owner and am nearly up to vets fees as it is.....

Vet said wound will heal and it is not life threatening but she will not be sound - Or he 'couldn't see her coming sound'

No good news if the diagnosis is a bone infection. I would have thought that the horse would need IV antibiotics and surgery for a chance of survival.
