Puncture wounds in hooves

Hi, a friends horse has recently had a nail in her hoof resulting in her staying at a horsey hospital in Newmarket. PLEASE check your fields for anything that can cause puncture wounds to the feet. This was a freek accidient but we nearly lost her luckily she is coming home tommorrow. Thanks to the wonderful work of the staff at the hospital.

Glad the horse is recovering its amazing how life threatening such a thing can be, we had one once but luckily he was ok and no issues once nail pulled

U should never remove the object yourself either lots of people do but u should wait for vet!
