OK, im going to cut a long story short. Lady with CKCS been in touch, as she purchased a puppy off me. All is fine, and thank god the pup I sold is ok. I was aware she had two other cavvies, and the pup gets on well with them. Her other bitch is 9 months, and she 'let them have a play in the garden' and the dog she owns tied with 9 month old. Now, i quote ''i cant KC reg them, but tha'ts not a problem, ill have no problem finding homes for them''. Now who do i need to get in touch with thats going to do something. 9 months? I emailed her right back saying get to the vets to abort pups if she is in pup, and ill be collecting the pup I sold asap. I dont wish to broadcast it, but i cant believe it. Ive never known anyone like it. 9 months? No wonder so many breeds are in such a mess when you have people like this on the planet.
Hope you can point me in the right direction - KC maby?

Firstly, you can't take back a pup that you sold to someone just because you don't agree with what has happened. It doesn't belong to you any more.

The KC will do nothing as they are not particularly interested in wefare and as long as the dogs are fit and healthy the RSPCA won't be interested either.

There is absolutely nothing you can do unfortunately.

That's just it though it's not the OP'ers dog or wouldn't be your dog, any more. Echo above you can't just waltz back and take the dog back, it's no longer yours. Unless that's what the owner of the dog wants.

Are either of the animals involved the one that you sold to her?

If not all you can do is talk to her and give her advice on how to be more sensible.
Did the pup you sold come with a 'not for breeding' stipulation?

we used to breed germen shepherds and if we found out they wernt been treated right or something wasnt working we got them bk they had there money bk as i breeder i feel i have a duty to preserve the animal ive breds welfare

We used to breed GSDs too (what was your prefix? PM if you'd prefer)

If the dog she sold wasn't involved in the mating then the OP doesn't have much grounds for going back and getting it, as unpalatable as the story is.

may not have been clear, the reason she emaied in the first place is because she is selling the pup i sold to her, hence the reason i can go and get it. But even if it wasnt for sale and i knew she was this type, i would be offering her more money to go and pick it up!!!

Seems like i care to much by the looks of things.

Not in the least, I'd be hopping mad if I were you.
Thanks for the explanation, hope the woman learns some sense!

I applaud you for taking the puppy back

, but do worry what would happen if she had not contacted u, I suppose this is a risk taken when selling puppies on, that they may end up in the hands of such ignorant clueless tossers

Hopefully you can place your puppy in a more responsible home.
As suggested above it is the downside of selling, u literally can not jsut take them back if a situation arises, unlike our rescue, we can remove them at any time

, and we have

If you mentioned that in the first place, I know my reply would have been different and I would do the same as you. I have done it but only because it was what the owner wanted too.
