Pup in season

Our black lab pup has come into season at 8 months old. I would prefer to get her spayed when the time right but what are the current thoughts on spaying? She is destined to be OH gundog and her seasons could interfere with the shooting season which would be a shame. Not quite sure what to do?

Happy to wait, just thinking for the future. I know views keep changing on spaying. Our vets have always been happy to book our dogs in and have never advised against it.

I waited till mine were over 2 years old before spaying so they were mature

Mine have two.
I might go three if it’s ok but Ffee was a neurotic mess so two was all I could cope with.
I suspect now I have an entire male as well two is all I’ll cope with
