More help please!! Pup is being absolutely fabulous!!
Needing something she can chew safely unsupervised. I bought her a sheep's ear on advice of petshop but she is not interested. She loves the older dogs cow hooves but not convinced they are safe? Need something probably smelly and tasty and safe so she can have it in the crate when left. And also need some puppy treats for recall and etc. Thank you!!

Kong fillings=kibble, dog safe peanut butter, her usual food, a little lump of carrot, cooked ham, chicken, dog biscuits, dried liver treats.

I used to plug Zak’s with a large piece of carrot, otherwise he just emptied it really quickly then stole Bear’s. If she’s teething, freeze it.

The dried liver treats are a good size for recall training or puppy size kibble. You can get a small bag to try in Pets at Home. Liver cake if you can be bothered to cook, careful if using a food processor, it wrecks them! Pets at Home own brand have small treats (and lots of free stuff for puppies, download the app, we gto free treats/toys) Fish4dogs training stars are a good size, Black Friday offers on now. https://www.fish4dogs.com/shop/dog/treats-variety

I only gave mine kongs or frozen lick mats when I left her in the crate as there was no risk with those. Mainly filled with either tuna and water, any leftover dog safe veg with bone broth or leftover dog safe fruit blended with water and a bit of kefir yogurt. She also loved chewing on frozen celery and watermelon (and still does). I also hollow out apples with a teaspoon to remove all the pips and fill those with cooked, blitzed sweet potato and bone broth and freeze them. I used her kibble as training treats when she was was on kibble but I also make all my own treats. They work out much cheaper and I know exactly what is in them.

I’ve got a treat pocket thing…used once and Scout just ripped the pockets open.
Again may work for a small pup.

Both my terriers had nylabones as pups and were fine. They can chip bits of the adult ones so now don't have them. Kongs both stuffed and the soft toys are pretty indestructible. Lickmats with frozen food work too. I used to leave Ruby with a puppy nylabone and a kong soft toy or a stuffed frozen kong in her crate so she could choose different textures.

I would use a stuffed kong rather than a chewy thing which are ok if you are there in case they try to swallow lumps off them , my terriers can take a kong indestructable toy apart easily so I wouldn’t be happy leaving a kong toy either ..
