Puppies. 🤦‍♀️

I’d love to see a photo. I had a sneaky look for puppies today but couldn’t find any.

This is why we aim for school summer holidays when we get ours. Miserable fail last time!
Sadly no photos. A picture of the corgis was taken from here and used on an advert for puppies for sale posing as parents.

It’s an open forum so it’s completely possible and plausible to happen - I guess I’d just never considered it. It’s the risk you take and tbh wasn’t the end of the world I just a) found it weird and b) was very bothered by why a litter for sale (which did exist and wasn’t a scam) used my dogs as understudies for the parents.

I don’t do social media, other than a IG page for dog photos which was really to stay in touch with corgi related people, but that’s locked down/I know all followers so the picture was definitely borrowed from him.

How very odd, yours must be fine examples?! I'm a little obsessed with spitz types after my childhood dog, but my OH keeps grounding me when he discusses the grooming they'd need given the puddles/brambles/seed filled areas we frequent and I just need to look at a picture of Goose on his belly in the swampy puddles to remind me it probably isn't the best plan.

Yep, one of the dogs has been dead for years, the picture was taken 15 years ago.
I had a photo of my sable rough collie taken and advertised at stud too, this was a while ago and I didn’t really think at the time - but I’d assume from here too. Like I say, it’s not a massive thing for me - I’d just rather not anymore. I think it’s generally more about the photos than the quality of the dog in them etc.

Most people can't tell the difference to be honest.
There was a viral Twitter thread about the dog in the opening scene of Gladiator being the same dog as Well'ard from EastEnders and tens of thousands of people couldn't tell the difference between a male GSD and a female Tervuren. They were both in the film but they weren't the same dog!!
You see it on missing dog posts when well meaning folk post a dog of a completely different colour.
