Our 6 month old border terrier is teething at the moment, chewing everything she can, which is fine as most things she gets are her toys anyway.

but last couple of days shes been really quiet and a little bit "clingy" last night her glands were swollen just behind her jaws, and a little bit off her food.

Does this sound normal? anything we can give her?, obviously keeping an eye on her in general.

Thanks

I would assume she has just been quiet and off her food because of her teeth. We used to give our dogs frozen rags, wet them and put them in the freezer. They can chew it and the cool should be a little soothing. No other suggestions otherwise, sorry.

yes this is normal. I leave a pile of logs out for my puppies, i know it makes a mess but I would rather this than have all my furniture and shoes chewed up. You can also try giving her and ice cube to play with, this will soothe her mouth
