could this be stress or should i panic?

yes got him home about 8, took him to my room, just let him do his own thing, he hasnt pooed yet, has been for a wee, not sure if can MAKE him poo mind.

uhm a max of 2 hours.
he's drank a fair amount but got told to not let him drink too much as he will be sick more.

if you are worried get him to a vet (although i wish the vet i took a pup to had actually listened to me

) puppies dehydrate very quickly and don't cope with much stress. i am not trying to scare you but we lost a pup with similar symptoms

hope he is o.k

very alert, any noise and he wakes up, he's going through the tired energetic stages of a normal puppy, water is there and im making him drink little bits. then he goes back to sleep, was hearing noises from his belly but not no more.

also got told to not feed him untill tomorrow morning as this may upset his belly.

I bought the wrong food when i got my first puppy and it gve her a very upset tummy . n ended up with blood in her poo. I miss heard what she told me to buy . I bought beta puppy instead of omega !!!!

Dogs arent meant to get cows milk . thats what i was told when i got my puppies and i never give my dogs milk . Not good for there tummies

Aw cool, thats good. The amount of people that think cows milk is good for them is immense, puppy milk doesnt contain the sugars and lactose that is prevalent in cows milk and makes them ill.

As long as he is still drinking and happy and alert, then id see how he is tomorrow and if concerned in the morning take him along to the vet, as most practices will have a morning clinic. Then you wont have to pay the out of hours charge if things get at all worse in the afternoon or on sunday (or monday as its bank holiday). Prob worth taing him along so they can give him a check over as well and talk to you about vaccinations, worming etc etc.

Im sure he will be fine.

MFE - know nothing about how old pup is, where you got him from, when weaned etc etc but just an alert that young puppies from less than perfect breeders (puppy farms and the like) can go downhill shockingly fast. I'd be instantly suspicious about parvo virus/distemper. Also, withholding water for any young animal that is being very sick is madness as, like lilym says, they can dehydrate very quickly and then can fade fast. Was he just taken from his mother? Any blood in his poo? Does he have a temperature? Is he lethargic? Vet vet vet.
