Puppy coming tomorrow - what have I forgotten?!

Going to collect my mini longhaired dachshund puppy tomorrow, been running round getting bits and pieces but have a nagging feeling I've forgotten something important! (My first dog btw.) Got food/water bowls, collar and lead, crate, bed, toys, nappy pads for accidents, poop bags, chews, and just going to go out and buy a baby gate to stop him going up the stairs. Also booked him in for his first jabs next week. He has KC insurance for six weeks, and comes with a supply of the food he is used to...what have I forgotten?! Have to go straight from work so don't want to leave anything til tomorrow.

Yes GinaBaubles he is - my mum finally saw sense so I can take him back with me for Xmas... can't wait til tomorrow!

I know he is too young to walk on a lead at the moment.
But if he manages to escape the garden or house, oops.
We have a deaf pug and she also wears a bell so i know where she is at all times, cos i cant call her!!

the only thing yu might find handy to help him sleep through the night is a heat pad. they are 19.99 from pets at home (although i got mine from my local vets for 9.99) you heat it in the microwave and it stays hot for 8 hours so better than a hot water bottle.
my puppy has slept through the night without crying or any problems its a great thing!!
