Unfortunately I will eventually be going back into the office and not WFH all the time (I am hoping to do at least 2 days WFH, 2.5 days in the office). However, ideally I would only go in the office once a week as I have WFH for months now and done my job with no issues (probably better as there are less distractions and office politics!).
My boss wants me in one day next week to discuss how I see my role working going forward (with regards to WFH etc.). Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a suitable puppy day care for Wally as yet.
I have a couple of options:
1) I did meet one lady and she was fantastic, but is 30 minutes in the opposite direction from work which is not ideal, and also as she looks after 2 older dogs during the day they go for long walks which Wally isn't really able to do at present as he is only 4.5 months old.
2) There are 2 biggish day care centres sort of more the direction of work but this fills me with worry as Wally can be a bit sensitive, but they have all sorts to keep them entertained and quiet times as well.
3) There is also a lady who doesn't have much of a garden etc. but is in her own home which might suit him better, we are going to see her Sunday but I'm concerned he wont have a chance to try it for a couple of hours first and see how he goes.
All are licensed (I wont use anyone that isn't as it panics me).
4) Mum is living with us still but I don't like to leave him with her for long as she does tend to wind him up and he ends up peeing everywhere, and she doesn't really have a handle on the training. We are consistent with things and she isn't.
I understand its only one day at the minute, and he is left with mum for around 2.5 hours when I go to the loan horse, but it panics me a bit as I feel rushed.
What would be the option you would go for?
I'm thinking 4 might be less stressful for everyone involved and we can take some time to find a daycare option for maybe one day a week.....
Ugh..... is it wrong I just want to WFH completely?!!
