Helloo our 12 week lab pup has gone off her food and is gradually eating less and less! Any advice or what we should do? Many thanks! X

Have you tried offering her different food? Tiny bits of raw chicken? It tends to be very tasty for them.

Is she losing weight or maintaining? how many meals, how old? what food?
I say all of thid because although their is a giude line some pups just can't won't eat so much, so in some cases it's a case of less food in a meal and a window of time to eat "10 mins" for instance. Are you feeding the same food in every meal?
If it's a good quality food and she is maintaining weight, bright, active, then I would hold off changing food, change the way you feed instead.

What is she like in herself? Is she active, bright and maintaining her weight? If yes, I would be inclined to think that she is the kind of dog who regulates her own intake of food and is lessening it with the arrival of spring. If, however, she is showing any other signs of ill health, I would pop her to the vets and make sure she's OK.

Lots of pups who were greedy eaters when with their litter mates gradually realise when in their new home that there is no urgency to eat. There is no a liiter mate to pinch it. Adding something tasty to the meal can sometimes help, free access to food so that they can eat as & when can also be good. Is the pups worming up to date ? Are you sure its not eating something it shouldn't giving it the tummy ache. Pups growth rates fluctuate & with it so can appetitie (fast growth needs more food)
