Puppy not well - again!

Thanks guys. I'm in work ATM but ringing later to push the referral for tonight rather than tomorrow . I'm ringing the vets in a bit and will be getting out of work ASAP to get him there

Poor thing. What breed is he?
I would be ringing vets and getting referral done so you can take him tonight after work, leahurst will take him at any time.
I would ask for nurse to accompany you if he is still so poorly as that's quite a drive with a very poorly baby.

My mums coming with me - she will sit with him and I will drive as I know the way

Just want to go get him now. The vets ringing me later as I've requested the referral now x
 
NEVER ever use a vet who kicks out it`s patiants at six in the evening whatever state they are in,they should not even be licensed in my opinion.
 
Vibes and prayers for you and your puppy, poor little man has really been through the mill.
Our pup had a intussusception at 10 weeks but pulled through the surgery and is fine now (18 months) I hope yours is soo well again (((((hugs))))
 
update... i rung again at 7pm... he has stopped pooing blood and being sick!! AND has managed to eat some food!!!!

cent believe its the same dog that 8 hours ago was off to leahurst with surgery hanging over his head!! (again!)


fingers very very tightly crossed for the next 12 hours he gets much better to come home tomorrow OR goes to leahurst - hes not staying in the vets tomoorrow - he needs to come home and he will be much better in his own surroudings!!


matress will be hauled ass down stairs if needed!!! or he comes up stairs in his crate in my room next to my bed

i wont be leaving his side much except for working (luckily im off tues/wed ) so i know he will improve no end at home ASLONG as there is no chance of a surgery risk else he will be at leahurst not our ordinary vets etc again

yep definateyl!! if he can do that in 8 hours - give him another 12 and fingers crossed he will be much better again!!

i have to get him at half 7 and take him back to the original vets (why i dont know if he is okay to go home)!... but i had an appointment with them anyhow to check the stitches.....

i will be buying a fresh chicken tomorrow to try tempt him to eat a little - rice and chicken the vet had said originally so i will buy a chicken and if he cannot eat it i will lol :)
 
Everything crossed that he keeps improving what a horrible situation for you. Sending lots of healing vibes and hugs ur way!!!!

id love to have him home tomorrow :)

he has to be okay though as i have the horse to sort out (will be out for an hour max)!.... so if he is to come home he must be well....else im not bringing him home for his sake.

any doubt and he will go to leahurst.
