Puppy pens

can anyone recommend a good one please? I mean the more solid looking ones-ie whether they are better with a base or not etc. I do have a crate for him already but wondered if a pen might come in handy in the early days-I can also child gate him into the kitchen.

Before anyone talks about the evils of crates/pens, my other dog is epileptic-it might be handy to be able to pop young puppy in pen while I am in/out of house etc in case she has a seizure.

You can buy extra plain panels to increase the size too. I have seen them used as a permanent structure at a breeders.

We have the pets at home puppy pen. The large dog one. It's used outside when oh needs to open the gates out onto the road, and has survived 6 months out in the elements v well. Very solid though I've tied one corner to the fence besides it.
