So, the pup comes home.
Very boring 3+ hours drive, and she was perfect.

First few hours, and been perfect. Wee's and poo's in the right place (in the garden), found a toy to pounce on, ate her dinner, found her bed, had a sleep and is now understanding the old dog - first sighting meant high pitch screams!!
Meet Rosie.

she is lovely and your other dog gave me a bit of a shock as he/she is the spitting image of my lurcher when she had aged....she is long gone but still holds a big piece of my heart....good luck with the pup and hope OH is still keen to do lots of training..

Rosie is gorgeous and she sounds a sweetheart. I love springers - our family dog when I was a child was a springer, and she was the loveliest natured soppy pup. A bit food obsessed mind you, and impossible to tire out, but utterly adorable.

Aww, she looks so similar to one of mine as a puppy, now look at the lunatic;

And this is her sister;

Not springers but working cockers; most people seem to assume they're just really undersized springers though.
Beautiful puppy :)
