We went to vist the litter of puppies of which one, come New Year, will be coming to live with us. They are Italian Spinone's, 2 weeks old.

This is mum

And a video:

Can't wait until New Year!

Awww, is that a tiny so called "runt" lying on a towel, perhaps on a hot water bottle?

How cute are they. Do you know which one is yours yet?

Poor mum having that lot!!! Lovely looking pups, love the one on the left of the 2nd pic and the one lying with the runt (might be the same pup) as looks like it/they have patches!!

Yeah we did, but finding one was too difficult. Well bred litters are very hard to come by. This litter comes from a family who show, so in order fo us to have a docked puppy we'd have either had to have picked it before 3 days old, or the breeder would have had to have them all docked....unfortunately if you show (and people have paid to enter the show to watch) then docked dogs aren't allowed.

This breeder is a regular winner at Crufts, so couldn't risk having them all docked. No matter, will be interesting having a spin with a tail!

Can't wait - they are all so fab. Our spin, Amber, has only just been told and I *think* she's excited

I saw two of these gorgeous dogs in a 4x4 parked up in Marylebone High street only last week, the Range Rover boot flap was down and the two of them were just sat there and they were gorgeous.

They are beautiful dogs and i envy you loads

i would absolutely love one but i am out working all day and it wouldn't be fair to keep such an athletic dog (or any dog for that matter) locked up all day.

Keep us posted on your progress with the puppy, what are there tempraments like?

Will do.

Amber (our dog) is just fab. Very gentle and docile and loving. They are HPR dogs so loves to hunt, likes swimming, loves getting dirty!

Their beards are particularly disgusting! Easily trainable, just fab loyal dogs.

Here's Amber at her best:
