He will be offended and take the moral high ground for a bit, but he will be happy in time to have a zoomie friend. OH says he is socially inept - I prefer to say that the gundogs just don’t get Rew’s sense of fun! 😁
 
Oh I am so jealous! I would love an iggy with some whippet crossed into it. I nearly bought one before I got Cooper but the one I wanted was booked by the person before me. I love the iggy temperament. They are completely mental! 😂
 
Agreed.

I would love an Iggy, but am almost certain I would break one, so one with some Whippet in the mix to sturdy it up a bit really does sound fabulous.

Good job it’s too far away for me I love black dogs , nearly got a whippet/Iggy when I was looking but ended up with a whippet/Bedlington/Border collie

I think it's 'longdog' for sighthound x sighthound isn't it?

ETA - whatever the right term is, she is super cute. I love baby noodles! Her colour is lovely :)

Hmm, very good point. Tbh by the time you end up explaining dogs breeding it gets a bit time consuming 😉 with Rew most people think he’s a whippet, then I end up explaining the his mum is (whippet x Bedlington) x (whippet x greyhound) and they’re glazing over! How would you describe her - I’d happily go mongrol!

I think Saddle Psych is right it’s long dog . Daughters lurcher looks pure whippet. She has a “pedigree” and she has a sprinkling of bedlington , beardie and collie but predominantly whippet .
 
Swift was going to be latest puppy… as long as you don’t mind them sounding like a Taylor groupie.
I like Askew, ‘a skewbald’ but sadly sounds too similar to Rew I suspect 😁
