Puppy questions - help!

Just brought home our italian spinone puppy today.

She's had a sleep, something to eat, a wee and a play.

Now she's very grizzly...she's trying to sleep, but then keeps getting up and thrashing about like she can't get comfy, grizzling and moaning....been doing it the last 20mins...

Is she just missing her litter mates?? Am I being paranoid??

Have never experienced anything like that with any of my pups. Doesn't sound as if she is ill though more unsettled. I'd just keep an eye on her and see how she goets on for a while.

Hmm turns out she needed the loo....we had a wee accident on the carpet, but made it outside for a poo....then we did a little bit of sick...

She seems to be chewing a back foot...wonder if she's nettled herself in the garden??

We've had a little play and then I thought she was having a sleep, but she seems to be throwing herself around again...

when Layla is tired (12 weeks old) she whinges and can't seem to settle, just like an overtired baby. She rests here, can't get comfy, goes off somewhere else, etc and it goes on for about 10 mins til she finally drops off. Worst at night and also does it if the other dogs aren't about, so yours could certainly be used to snuggling up to a mate..do you have a big cuddly toy or blanket he or she can snuggle to?
