As pup is only 10wks old I know I can't expect her to be perfect. But she has come on leaps and bounds with toilet training in the last 3wks.:)

She still has little wee accidents occasionally and now knows to go into the garden to do her No.2 business (thank goodness). If she has an accident I always say 'no' pick her up and put her in the garden and say 'wee wees', she's quite an intelligent little thing so do you think its just because she is so young that she has less bladder control and its just a matter of time before she picks up on the idea of not weeing in the house or am i expecting too much from a little one?

Can anyone tell me there potty puppy experiences?

She will not be perfect at this age, no!
If you think she would have only just left her mother less than a month ago, she is doing really well. Think how long human babies have to wear nappies for!

You really need to catch her in the act, start to read her body language (circling, sniffing, starting to squat) and take her outside in that moment. Saying no afterwards, she won't understand why.

Well done so far! Bear in mind that puppies bladder nerves and muscles are nowhere near properly developed until a good 6 months so you are going to get accidents, leaks or weeing on peoples feet for a while yet!

High praise when things are done in the right place and keep calm and say nothing when its wrong seems to work best for me......well, for my dogs I mean!

Thanks CC, I will try to catch her in the act although the wees tend to be the size of a 50pence piece so are done v quickly!

I will also try to overdo the praise when she does it in the right place and say nothing when its in the wrong place. I don't expect her to be perfect but when she is so close to the bloody door it can be slightly frustrating. Today I had a conversation with her about it the neighbours probably think I i've lost it, telling a dog where I think she should wee. :)

As everyone said above, praise at the right time and try and catch before the accident ..... :D at your choice of command "wee wee" ... csan just imagine you out late / early shouting wee wee to the neighbours :D
