Pen is doing so well, she is as steady as a rock. The poults are here now so we spend hours up at the pens every day and she is with us all the time. She will sit and stay while I move the older dogs around and away from her when we are walking the escapees back in. You can take her in the pen while you do the food and drink and she just lies down (bored) while the pheasants come up and stare at her. We shouldn't ever have any problems with running in if this continues!
On the downside she does pester the older dogs to play on walks, which before the poults they used to do but now they are in constant work mode and getting enough stimulation that way so they don't want to any more. I wish they would tell her off, as it is I have to.
We were sorting the understairs cupboard and she found a hat...
Can't get it to post a pic. Dammit I thought I cracked it!

She sounds lovely Clodagh. I can't manage pictures either.
Sonnet at 11 weeks is a very 'in your face' so bold. She does respond to me and is very loving but she is into everything with no fear.
I wish my older ones would discipline her a bit too. She hangs off my older dog who does nothing about it except look a bit pained!
I hope I am going to be able to channel the enthusiasm in the right direction. Hopefully life improves once they can go out and about.
Do keep us updated, love the reports.

have a look at a thread I posted in clubhouse last week asking for picture help. I loved the hat photo!. She is just coming up to the age where the others will find her irritating and discipline her, also she can start doing a bit herself soon.

Pen is a bit timid, tbh I find more bullish dogs easier, less walking on eggshells. She is very sweet and loving though, and incredibly quick to learn. She is good for my impatient management control!

Thank you Thistle, CT's description made me understand! No doubt I will forget again but you all get the hat pick, she loves carrying things.
I hope they do soon man up, but being soft lab bitches I can't see it. We need a Lily to sort her. My lurcher always squashed puppies and it did them so much good. No dogging in for her this year, she onlygets to be 'stop'. She loves retreiving but we only do 3 or 4 throws a couple of times a week.
