Puppy!!!!

This lunchtime Minnie gave birth to a tiny baby girl puppy, we had no idea she was pregnant and are assuming Kody is the dad but it's possible that she could have been got whilst she was in day care for two days some weeks ago. Boo as she has been named, (by my 11 year old niece who's birthday is today' is black with white chest and toes. She will stay with me forever.

what a shock and how lucky there were no complications for Minnie. Bit short notice to get everything sorted out for a puppy hope all goes well-what did the vet say?

Everything is fine with both mum and baby, unless you have seen my post in soap box on the recent months in my life then you have no idea what's been going on.

It might be best, for the future, if you are leaving entire dogs together to learn what the signs of a season are or possibly even to get the bitch spayed.

Both are booked in to be done, I have been living at the other end of the country for a job and dogs have been staying with family

They where booked in for the end of the month when I get payed, obviously now it will be re arranged for her and Kody is still going to be done. Pup and Mum are well and will have the best care possible. My life is only just back on an even keel after managing to get away from an abusive relationship, not that that is any of anyone's business.

but you had already told us that a while back? this is entirely separate-people do lose bitches or pups when whelping even when they are able to prepare properly, so I am (again) glad that Minnie is fine and look forward to puppy pictures.

Apologies, the female not from a puppy farm but can't understand why rescue group did not neuter her before rehoming. And is your other dog still a pup himself/under 12 months? May explain why only one pup.

Thank God for you lot, I couldn't quite believe the responses on the other thread yesterday about how great it is that two unneutered dogs have been left together to have an unplanned or known about pup.
