We’ve just returned from a week away. Lovely holiday let in Yorkshire. We took our sprocker with us on his first holiday.
I’m sat here and I think I need another holiday to get over it.
He got to go in the car on a long journey and that was exciting.
Holiday cottage = exciting
Sheep. Lots and lots of sheep. Lost his sh*t. Despite the fact we have sheep in our paddock at home. These are like a whole different species AND they’re flighty hill sheep. Not the fat dumplings that we have that ignore him. Couple of close calls.
Going to the pub. Lots of people = new friends! Even better are the people that have dogs at the pub! Lots of wiggling and whimpering. Please mum let me off this lead!!!
Going to the beach and swimming! Running off to crash an OAP picnic with me in hot pursuit. He managed to get a grip before disaster struck but he did go and shake his wet Sandy body over them.
I left him in the cottage whilst I went to put the bin out and he howled. He never howls! It sounded like he was being strangled and the people in the next cottage came to check he was ok ?. To add insult to injury he rolled over and went into ‘cute mode’ with them whilst looking smugly at me.
He came home. Had a nap and he’s ready for the next adventure ?
