Purabeet vs speedi beet vs sugar beet whats the difference?

I feed Purabeet too - it's unmolassed sugarbeet but can't remember if it's GM free, which might account for the difference in taste to other unmollassed sugarbeet? I know a lot of the SS range is GM free/organic.

purabeet is unmollased S/B I think simple systems name for their unmollased

sugar beet is molassed S/B

speedibeet is unmolassed but mine won't eat it

I use equi beet if I want unmollased ( trident feeds)
I use equi beet as well lasts much longer than speedy beet and it's cheaper I think pura beet is much the same.

Speedi beet is mostly used for good doers that need fibre but not calories . My good doer needs it because when the grass changes she gets colic .

Isn't equi beet a full 12 hour soak? I know speedi beet is ten minutes. That might influence some people's choice.
I soak equi beet in a lot less. I soak it am and feed pm or if I forget and use hot water about 3 hours does it.

However what really DOES influence my choice is
Equibeet £13 20kg

Speedibeet £20.93 20 kg.

That is mole valley which is one of the cheaper feed merchants.

Our local feed merchants charges £8.60 for Equibeet, recently up from £7.99. Supabeet which is Trident's molassed version is £9.99 but it's 25kg.

At those prices I can be organised. It says 24 hours on the bag but it does look ready before I make up dinner and breakfast feeds and make the sugarbeet for the following day because that routine works for me.

For me the irony is that I use speedibeet but tend to make it up in the morning and leave it to soak for most of the day anyway! 😂

Thanks all.

Now just got to find a vet e he will now eat with it. Has gone off the forage plus one now 😐
have you thought about Holland & Barrat 1000iu nat vit E capsules?
if you buy online and when it is get the 2nd half price it is not too pricy and just giving them a couple (or however many you want) in a small handful of soaked feed works easily. I feed 2 that way. Never any refusal or spitting out.

No I haven't, any issue with the capsules, I didn't think they could eat them.
