Hi everyone again, so I'm currently on the way to pickup my new horse! I just had a thought that I don't actually know what documents I need to sign/ collect. Obviously his passport but if anyone knows what else that would be amazing, thanks!!

Get a receipt, even if just hand written, take their passport, and a copy of the vetting cert if it wasn't done while you were there.

I just got a written receipt for mine and his passport. The vetting certificate was emailed to me by the practice.

I would get the certificate from vetting emailed before you pay and collect. I once had a glowing verbal report from a vet but the certificate listed a couple of things I hadn't been aware of. That didn't arrive until 2 days later and I bought on the strength of the verbal report.
