Pure Feed company food.....

has anyone else noticed any character changes when you have started feeding Pure Feed? My boy has been changed over to Easy - 1/3 scoop twice daily at the moment as he hasn't been in work (lameness) - he is a 493kg pure TB gelding, and he is turned out daily.

He goes absolutely mad when he is fed, kicking his feed bucket with huge enthusiasm and scattering food everywhere! I have also been told that he is getting increasingly stroppy when he is brought in (actually trying to kick his handler today, I am absolutely mortified!) but I am well aware that is probably far more linked to his lack of exercise recently.

I'm pleased that he has taken to the food so well (it comes free as part of my livery cost) but I am surprised about his reaction to it :)
 
Must be the lack of exercise changing his behaviour - he is back in work now so fingers crossed he remembers how to be polite again, or he is in serious trouble!

I think Easy is the lowest one the yard gets in - they are all eventers so they need the energy :) Is the lowest energy one the Fibre Balance? I can ask my YO, she is sponsored by them so I assume she gets the feed at a discounted rate (or free? no idea how top level sponsorship works!)
 
Yes Fibre Balance is lowest feed as #1 is just a balancer whereas all their other feeds include the balancer. Are you in Surrey by any chance...?
