Pure feed company

I have been feeding pure feed for about 4 years I think. My last horse used to be quite spooky and lacked concentration (was fed dengie chaff and a dodson & horrell mix). I swapped him onto pure feed and his concentration levels increased quite significantly. When he was out of work I put him back on a dengie chaff and nuts, when coming back into work he was again a bit spooky. When workload increased, put him back on pure feed and again I saw a noticable difference.

I've had my current horse 7months and always fed her Pure feed so cant say whether she is worse on a different feed. She is doing fine on it anyways although I did think about switching to TopSpec due to hearing good stuff recently but when I thought about it, I dont really have any reason to change feed!

Jay man is on Pure feeds, Pure Easy, for 3 years or so.

It is meant to be for resting/light work, but he looks fab up to BE100 on it, no lack of energy.

However, he has recently not been as keen to eat it, so we have to put some speedy beet in so he has his extra vits, which kind of defeats the point!

We order online, and delivery is via Royal Mail, free delivery, and quick.

Try 2 sacks, nothing to lose :-)

I use Pure Feeds. Started on Pure Easy but over the winter I upped it to the Pure Fibre Balance. Absolutely brilliant. Expensive, but everybody comments on his shiny coat, his behaviour is so much better when ridden (certainly not perfect but so much better than trying to find a calmer that worked). Even the vet comments on how well he looks. I wouldn't use anything else now. He doesn't need anything mixed with it - it contains everything he needs. He only needs 1 kg a day (shared between two feeds).

Pie is on Pure Working and looks fantastic. This is the first year he has maintained weight and top line through the later part of winter / early spring and he certainly doesn't look his 19 years. It is also the only feed I have found that he still tucks into when out on summer grazing.

I was recommended Pure by Jason Webb when I sent a pony to him, and noticed how well she looked when she came home - and since then our polo ponies and brood mares have been on it (for 3 years now!)

We find the Pure Easy does them really well, especially the ponies which don't need overheating! Pure Working was great when they were playing hard, and our broodmares have been on their stud mix and look fab for it, we really like Pure, and the customer service is good too.

My big half shire chap lives on Pure Balance, hay and grass. He never lacks energy, looks fab and is easy to do and ride. His coats shines his eyes are bright. He needs nothing more than this so I won't be changing. My previous yard fed Pure Feed to all the horses and without exception they all did well on it.

Got two on pure feeds. One on conditioning cubes and she looks and feels great. And a youngster on their stud feed. He's not that fussed so he has a bit of molasses in with it, the made licks the bowl clean. Both look really good, very impressed!

I think it's a great feed, my only problem was that it was very expensive to feed the correct amounts so I then started adding a general supplement which defeats the purpose!

Thanks all I think I'm going more towards the pure feed than simple systems, I'm not convinced about large amounts of Alfa in various forms at a high cost!

Not all Simple systems feeds contain alfa, the lucie nuts do, but the red / blue grass nuts don't, and you can get chaffs that don't too.
