Has anyone got any suggestions on how to remove purple spray stains from my hands? Decided to spray horse's smelly feet with Hoofmaster yesterday and didn't wear gloves! Have tried household soap, hand scrub and fairy liquid (not all at the same time though) but still have lovely pink fingers. Any suggestions gratefully received!

Not helpful now, but if you put some Vaseline on your hands first, it doesn't seem to stain! It will also remove recent stains, but after a few minutes you tend to be stuck with them.

I did the same 24 hours before traveling to speak at a conference. I used a brillo pad / wire wool. Bit painful but it got it all off. Sort of thing you only do once really. (Or once at a time if you're me...)

I know it's a bit late now but wear some gloves next time, mind you last time I used that blue foot spray stuff in a can I sprayed it and the wind blew a lovely fine mist of it on my face, that's a good look especially as I had been to the supermarket before I noticed.

Thanks for suggestions, think I will try white spirit as I somehow don't fancy taking a Brillo pad to my hands (ouch). It has however now faded to a very pretty pink!

try nail varnish remover... if that doesn't work put some paint thinners on a rag and rub your hands in it and it will come off (this is not a preferred option as it can irritate sensitive skin)
