Yes we lost a beloved pony to this as a complication of strangles.

My 24 yr old pony had a tEMP of 39.6 and àll four legs were swollen and hot . She had been on antibiotics so they changed them to another 9ne, I wanted to pts but was talked int a steroid injection and she seems t9 have improved over the weekend
