My horse may be competing there on thursday, but it would be his first novice, just wondered what the showjumping and X.C. were like? he was 7th last time out at solihull pre novice.

I personally thought the XC was quite a tough track.
The SJing i fair for a Novice (well it was!) It's very colourful it has the sets of jumps with the dolphins (the same set at Hambledon)
Dressage warm up is a bit bumpy I found, nice event though.

I did it as my 2nd novice a few years ago and went clear. It has plenty of questions but isn't massive so isn't bad as a first time.
They always have the step up to something at fence 3/4 then they have a fence 2 steps down to the water, a sunken road to a skinny, corner, 2 fences on right angle turn.
SJ is usually v bright and colourful but not HUGE
I'd say you'll be fine!!
