And did my first big solo hack on saffy! Now doesn't sound very brave as saffy is bombproof
however my confidence was shattered by dizzys generally sharp behaviour and unpredictable awful napping and rearing even in company
(I miss my little horse though) so after having a few days off riding when dizzy was pts I hopped back on saffy and started going for little hacks round the block (of course she was a pro) Then this morning I woke at 6am and decided I wanted to go to lullingstone park for a proper blast!
We left the yard at 9am and had a wonderful 3hr adventure involving long country roads, going under the m25 some wonderful trots and canters through the woods and then we came to this
And we flew
that complete sense of freedom and trust and then low and behold a springer spaniel jumped out of the bush! What did saffy do? Nothing. calmly came to a halt and stood perfectly while I chatted to the owners
who were lovely!
We continued on our canter and enjoyed the rest of our adventure immensely. We even went over the m25 where saffy didnt even look at the traffic and casually plodded over the bridge!
I am going to continue hacking and getting some trust and then tackle jumping
I want to get back to my confident happy self after this past year and I think I have the pony to help me!
Super pony
And a couple of my beautiful late girlie today is the one year anniversary of when she came into my life. I miss you little horse.
