Just had to shout it out!! I hate test situations, and put off doing my trailer test for nearly 13 years!! I evaded doing it by driving 3.5 tonne horseboxes and towing having a pre 97 passenger, but I could only evade doing the test for so long!! I now need my freedom and have to tow 2 horses in a big trailer!! So finally did my test!!
And I PASSED!!!!
For those out there looking to do it too, phone around instructors, I was quoted by a couple of people that they would only do a minimum of a day, or equivalent of training plus the test, totaling from £395 to £500 despite me already being able to reverse a trailer and having nearly 13 years driving experience!!!
I found another person who did one morning and then the test straight on in the afternoon!! For about half that price!! So if you're in a similar situation, don't just take the first quote!!!
