On Facebook it usually means they are trying to avoid falling foul of the rules around advertising pets for sale.

When I see these sorts of ads it sounds like they are trying to say 'the horse is incredible so I don't have to sell it but will take a large chunk of money for it if you are so inclined', but that is probably just me

To me it means they don't have to sell, but wondering if there are lots of very motivated buyers out there who might offer them ££$$££s.
