Puzzle impaled herself...

Sure I already posted this but now can't find it!!

Popped over with the girls I nanny for today so they could give Puzzle a cuddle. Notice scratch on her leg-give it a poke and finger disappears! Cue two very distressed girls and an emergency visit from the vet!

Sedation, anti bs, bute and vets visit later, she's impaled herself to the bone on something. It has reached the bone but the vet couldn't feel any obvious fragments or scratches so hopefully it will just heal.

My poor baby girl! Vibes to keep infection at bay would be nice xxx

My horse has the same injury that I found today....although I didn't poke my finger in it! Euueeeww! I just hosed it thinking it was a graze for it to open into a deep hole with a lump on his bone. Vets called and antibiotics and anti inflams and hopefully will heal.

Hope Puzzle heals quickly too

God feel like a **** now Rhino! Thank you! Hopefully TFC will merge in to one!

She's ok tonight, looking a bit shocked and struggled to force her meds in to her but we will survive! Good to hear stories where it's healed well. Xx
