Pyrometra

My dog has just op n spay due to pyrometra ,she is now home n recovering
Has anyone else experience this and what was the outcome
Did they recover quickly

My old girl came back fine and never looked back!

My girl bounced right back too, she was 10/11, lived to 14.
The vet told us to give her Guinness, but he was old school and it was a long time ago!!
