My little border went in to have a couple of teeth out today. I dropped him off at 9 and picked him up at half 4 and he is still pretty much out of it.
He is walking ok but is still a bit wobbly and can barely keep his eyes open 10 mins. Bless him.

Just wondering how long he will be like this? Last time he was undr GA was 10 years ago and I can't remember how he was!

As he is older I would expect him to take a bit longer to get over the anaesthetic.

Beastie was in a few weeks ago, dropped off at 9 and vet phoned at 11.30 to say I could come and take her home

Although as I was at work exp, she had to stay a bit later and was full of beans when I got her.

That sounds about right for his age and size and the time frame.

B had enough to choke a donkey for a biopsy, the procedure was at lunchtime, I picked him up at four, he was walking sideways and eyes half shut, had to lift him in to car, left him in there for two hours, still out for the count, had to lift him out of car (FUN) staggered into kennel and he stayed in there until 8am the next morning.

If he's not sorted out by tomorrow morning then i'd start to worry but it took Chloe about 3/4 hours to get better from it when she had her op, but about 3 days to stop being sleepy all the time! xxxxx
