quad bikes *broom broom*

i really want a wee quad bike, i'm going to need something to take hay up to the top of the hill field, does anyone have any recommendations?? and does anyone know of the rules for quads on the roads??

I'm pretty sure quads aren't allowed on a public highway.

some big quads are allowed on roads, but need full license plates etc i believe.

Ive seen quads on the roads with tax and number plates! In fact somebody at my bus stop goes home on one so i hope there not doing that illegally!!

i have a 56 plate quad bike... i can take mine on the road cos i got insurance, number plate and road tax.... but you have to go pretty slow on the roads unless u got tyres tht are ok for the road too.
mines locked away in the garage with 2 padlocks on the wheels.
